Cultural tourism

Culture tourism is a form of tourism that focuses on the cultural aspects of a place, such as culture, cultural heritage, cultural landscapes and cultural offerings, with these being the visitor’s main motivation when selecting a destination (“Towards gender equality in the cultural and creative sectors”, report of the OMC (open method of coordination) working group of member states’ experts, June 2021).
